A very violent crackdown
I love the bbc. They have such a beautiful manner. The velvet glove of intonation that expresses the true violence within.
I was absurdly unfortunate yesterday to listen to a five minute bulletin that interposes itself every now and again into what otherwise passes for altogether gentler programming. It was the way she said it, perhaps it was italicised; violent crackdown.
Of course she was referring to the Iranian governments response to yet another attempt to colour change the Iranian government by anything other than the Iranian people. Of course that is not strictly true as there are indeed an Iranian people who have grievances with their government. Same as it ever was.
And yet, as soon as she said it I knew, without any further ado that it was a mantra that was being simultaneously and breathlessly repeated, by all mediums, across all spectrums, by the bandwidth, licenced and thereby controlled, by the organs of the western cartel.
My sympathies are with the people, all people, but especially those, orchestrated and controlled by powers they simply do not recognise.
As to the Iranian protesters, I read elsewhere that there government, for whom I care not a jot, circumvented the starlink devices that were surreptitiously imported to foster the current round of discontent and so the uprising, such as it was, is now no more. A violent crackdown, or perhaps, slap down, indeed. If only we here had similar means to intervene.
